A Guide to Your Favourite Location
Dog photography sessions with Haggie Snaps Photography are offered in a range of carefully selected outdoor locations across the Perth metro area, however, you are also always more than welcome to suggest a new spot!
I have multiple locations available, each chosen for their often calm feel, open space or backdrop and suitability for different dogs. I’ll guide you in selecting the right location based on your dog’s character, energy level and comfort, as well as your own preferences for the look and feel of the session. All locations can be used with dogs on or off lead, depending on what feels safest and most appropriate for your dog, allowing us to create relaxed, natural photos.
South Perth Skyline
Urban feel, perfect for sand and water action. A relatively quiet location that can be suitable for reactive dogs.
Pine Plantation Perth
The Pines in Gnanagra is a favourite for forest vibes and sparkly backgrounds. Suitable for all dogs. I recommend picking a weekday session if your dog is sensitive other dogs or people as weekends at The Pines can become busy. I also have a second Pine Forest option available for people that either love a bit of a bigger adventure - or have a dog or people reactive dog.
Lake Gnangara
Lake Gnagara offers a variety of scenery. Great for reactive dogs.
Bishop Road Reserve
Beach vibes along the river meet cliffs and rocks with urban backdrop. This spot is quiet most mornings but if you have aa reactive dog, it might be tricky to avoid people and their dogs due to the narrow beach path.
Elizabeth Quay
You have a curious dog that loves a good adventure around people & other dogs? EQ is a lovely spot for some urban city shots! Sparkling lights and lovely skies combined with greenery! What is not to love!
Jorgensen Park
Beautiful bush land combined with an epic lookout. This location is the right spot if you see yourself as someone that enjoys a little hike and doesn't mind meeting other people and dogs. Not reactive dog friendly due to many offlead dogs.
Applecross Dog Beach
The most dreamy sunrise location with views of the skyline of Perth, soft pastel coloured skies & perfect for water action shots. Dog needs to be dog social for this location as it is nearly impossible to avoid other dogs here even though there aren't that many.
Beach Shoot
I have multiple beaches that I like to shoot at. We can select the right one together based on your dogs character.
Bushland
A bushland based in the northern suburbs is one of my favourite locations for dogs that need more space. It is a quiet location with beautiful light.
Bells Rapids
Beautiful bushland, water during some seasons and lush grass with hilly backdrops can be found at Bells Rapids. This spot is available for reactive and non reactive dogs.
