A Limited Seasonal Dog Photography Experience in Wanneroo & Claisebrook Cove

Autumn colours in Perth are very subtle but it’s there if you know where to look. The light softens this time of year while some of the greens slowly fade and turn into orange and red. And for a very short window we get those warmer tones coming through.

It doesn’t last long, which is why I’ve planned a small run of sessions around it.

Our 2026 Autumn minis are held in two different locations that I have carefully scouted and that feel quite different from each other and suit different dogs & have different vibes.

James Spiers Park in Wanneroo is a quiet neighbourhood spot with autumn trees and a lot of open space. It’s great for dogs that need room to move, want some space for fun action shots amongst the red trees but there are also a few more tucked-away areas that work really nicely for slower, more relaxed portraits. It’s usually not overly busy, but off-lead dogs can be around.

Claisebrook Cove is more on the urban side. You’ve got the water, boardwalks and that bit of city texture in the background. It’s a busier area but dogs are on lead which can make things feel a bit more predictable.

What You Can Expect

These sessions are designed for one dog per session, or you can book a double slot, so we have enough time to capture two or even three dogs. If you'd like to bring more than 2 dogs, please just reach out to me. :)

The time slots are 20 minutes each and we create a mixture of cute portraits of your dog, you with your dog and your dog being playful amongst the leaves if they want to.

Please note that these sessions are not designed as a family shoot but two adults with their dog work absolutely well! If you have an older child, they are also more than welcome to join in on the fun!

If you prefer a family shoot that is slower paced and comes with a variety of shots and enough time to get everyone ready, you can book any of my May dates here and we can go to one of the beautiful autumn spots around Perth!

Is This the Right Fit for Your Dog?

I want to be transparent because the right expectations makes all the difference.

Our Autumn sessions are designed for dogs who are comfortable around people and can handle seeing other dogs in the distance without becoming overwhelmed. Both locations will have dogs around and sadly that makes it hard for dogs that are reactive.

As you all know, I love my reactive clients so much - so if you would like to book an autumn session, we can totally make it work, just not as a mini session. :)
